“Los Angeles, November 2019” is implanted in the memories of sci-fi movie fans around the globe.
A vision of an 80s future noir Los Angeles has been celebrated, imitated, and anticipated ever since. The current future we live in may not be exactly what we were promised (or warned about) in the 80s, but we are looking to change that.
Nexus 2019 is a future-noir-themed pop-up bar slated to hit downtown LA this November. It will be a completely immersive experience, featuring a fully-designed retro-future interior, themed craft cocktails, food, costumed actors, and countless details for attendees to explore and interact with.
This is a passion project from a group of entertainment and hospitality industry veterans, all of whom were heavily influenced by iconic 80s futuristic films and are intent on delivering the ultimate fan experience.
We are expanding our plans to include another entire level:
Leave the elegant confines of the main bar to explore the world beneath.
And we’re still not done… more new spaces will be revealed soon.
It’s more than just a bar. It’s a journey into the Los Angeles of the future.
A journey to Neotropolis.
Neotropolis Bar has no affiliation with the Blade Runner property and will not include or offer any Blade Runner story elements as part of the offered experience.
